Características
Chives are grown in most regions of the world. Differences among the many varieties can be seen by how round or how flat their leaves are and by the color of the flowers, which can be dark red to white.

Chives are used in both hot and cold dishes. They pleasantly enhance the flavor of cheeses, omelets, hard-boiled eggs, pastas and tomatoes. It is preferable not to cook it and to add it just before serving. It is one of the components of “fines herbes.”
