Aromatic herb with thin, branched and ribbed stems and lanceolate leaves, dark green on the upper site and whitish on the lower side.

Species: Artemisia dracunculus

Aroma/flavour: Aniseed and slightly spicy
Ideal with: Eggs, butter, pickels, vegetables
Popular in dishes: Sauce Béarnaise, Tartar sauce
Properties: Digestive, diuretics
How to use: Add fresh, chopped or whole leaves, when plating to avoid loosing aroma and flavour
